Investing in Net Zero – A Discussion

Reform Scotland and the Scottish National Investment Bank were delighted to host this discussion about the role of state development and investment banks in accelerating the world to net zero.

With Cop26 hosted in Glasgow between November 1-12, tackling the climate emergency is at the forefront of global leaders’ minds. Development banks across the world are playing a key part in delivering national strategies.

Speaking at the event were some of the industry’s leading figures:

  • Ehren Cory, CEO, Canada Infrastructure Bank
  • Dr Jan Klasen, First Vice President, KfW’s Federal and European Affairs division
  • Bert Hunter, Chief Investment Officer,  The Connecticut Green Bank

The panel was chaired by Chris Deerin, Director of Reform Scotland and took place before an audience over Zoom on 12 November.
