For more than 20 years, Andrew was a lynchpin of the BBC’s politics coverage, first as Political Editor then as presenter of its flagship Sunday morning interview programme. He has recently become Political Editor of the New Statesman and a presenter on the LBC radio station. He said the change was to allow him to speak “directly in my own voice.” In his cover story for this week’s edition of the New Statesman he writes about the prospects for Scottish independence at a time of defence and foreign policy crisis.
